'Feerless' arrived on 7th April 2010 as a 13 month old red Dexter bull. He was very calm right from the start and laid down in the trailer for his 3 hour journey home. His name is not a spelling mistake, he is named after his father 'Peerless',
As a red Dexter bull, we are hoping to get some red calves from him. Our senior bull Henley is the dominant black colour, so all our calves have been black.
After a quarantine period, Feerless was introduced to 3 first time heifers, Anna, Awela and Tejal. He was delighted to be out in the fields with his new girls.
He was very keen on Anna, but she didn't want to know. After a while he decided grazing the spring grass was a more attractive option.
By October 2010, Feerless had grown significantly, both in height and girth.
In December 2010 he had his nose ring fitted which went without a hitch.
